Equity-Based Pricing at LiberationWeavers Collective

We believe in creating a world where support, growth, and liberation are accessible to all—regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we use a tiered equity pricing model, designed to honor the diverse economic realities within our communities.

Our approach to pricing is rooted in principles of reciprocity, equity, and collective care. We invite you to read through the following to understand how to choose your tier with intention and integrity.

🌱 Why We Use Equity-Based Pricing

  • We believe in the power of mutual support. Our goal is to make these offerings accessible to anyone drawn to this work, while sustaining a healthy, viable practice that allows us to show up fully for our community.
  • We recognize systemic inequities. We do not all start from the same place when it comes to financial resources. A fixed fee that’s easily manageable for one person may be a significant barrier for another.
  • We trust you to choose with care. We ask that you thoughtfully reflect on your financial situation, considering your income, access to resources, and the value of the work.
  • We value reciprocity, not charity. If you’re able to contribute more, your support helps create access for others. If you need to pay less, you’re not taking from anyone—you’re participating in a system designed to hold us all.
  • Money isn’t a measure of worth. It’s okay to have limited resources. It’s okay to have abundance. We simply ask that what you contribute reflects your reality and honors the work.

Equity, Marginalization, & Historical Injustice

We acknowledge that systemic oppression has created—and continues to create—deep economic disparities. For individuals from historically and currently marginalized communities, the financial landscape often involves additional barriers.

If you identify as part of a marginalized or oppressed group, you’re welcome to select a pricing tier that feels accessible to you, even if it’s lower than your current financial reality might suggest. This is not about proving hardship—it’s about honoring your lived experience.

🌍 Reflect Before You Choose Your Tier

Consider these questions to help you reflect on your financial reality with clarity and context:

  • Do I have consistent access to safe housing, nutritious food, and healthcare?
  • What is my current income, and how stable is it?
  • Do I have access to generational wealth, savings, or financial safety nets (e.g., family support, investments, property)?
  • Am I responsible for supporting others financially (e.g., family, dependents)?
  • How do I spend my discretionary income? What are my priorities when it comes to non-essential spending?
  • Do I have debt? Is it manageable, or does it limit my financial freedom?
  • What amount would feel like an intentional investment in my growth without creating undue financial stress?

🌱 Our Tiered Pricing Model

Choose the tier that best reflects your current financial reality. We trust your self-assessment.

Tier One: Root Support

“I’m navigating financial hardship, and paying more would compromise my basic needs.”

  • This tier is for those experiencing financial insecurity—struggling to cover essentials like housing, food, healthcare, or basic bills. If paying more would create significant strain, this tier is for you.

Tier Two: Aligned Access

“I can meet my basic needs, but this investment requires me to make thoughtful choices about my spending.”

  • This tier is for individuals with stable income who can cover basic needs without crisis but need to be mindful about discretionary spending. This might mean making trade-offs with non-essential expenses like dining out, travel, or subscriptions.

Tier Three: Sustaining Care

“I am financially secure, and paying this amount is a stretch but not a burden.”

  • This tier reflects the true cost of sustaining LiberationWeavers Collective’s work. It’s for those who can comfortably meet basic needs, have some financial security (savings, investments, stable income), and can pay without significant stress.

Tier Four: Abundance Offering

“I have financial abundance, and contributing more feels aligned with my values of equity and community care.”

  • This tier supports not just your participation, but helps fund accessibility for others. It’s for those with financial ease, access to wealth, or resources beyond their immediate needs. Choosing this tier helps grow the collective’s capacity to serve diverse communities.

🌱 Barter System:

No Money? Let’s Find Another Way.
We believe that access to liberatory practices shouldn’t depend on financial resources. If you have no access to money right now but feel called to this work, we offer limited barter-based slots.

You might offer:

  • Groceries or homemade food
  • Art or creative offerings
  • Time, energy, or skill shares (like admin support, design, or mutual aid work)
  • Other forms of exchange that feel meaningful to both of us

We honor the value of all contributions—whether financial or not. Reach out, and we’ll explore what feels fair and reciprocal. No one will be turned away solely due to money.

🌿 Final Thoughts

No matter which tier you choose, you are valued equally here and will receive the same level of care and service. This model isn’t about judgment—it’s about trust, integrity, and the belief that we can build a culture where care and sustainability coexist.
